Bissell Steam Shot Hard Surface Cleaner
Compared to the other handheld steam cleaners like Euro-Pro and Haan, the Bissell Steam Shot Hard Surface Cleaner is a good alternative for the budget conscious. It’s cheap and it works, even though you can’t rave about it much.
This steam cleaner is very easy to use, just wait for the steam to heat up, press the button to spray the steam at a small area and wipe clean with a cloth. You can work on a big area bit by bit, using one hand to hold this steam cleaner to spray and another hand to wipe. Spray and wipe, spray and wipe, it’s so easy!
This is a rather small steamer so don’t expect to use this to clean the whole house in one go. Refilling is easy enough though you will need a bit of patience to wait for it to cool down before you can open it. A few minutes will do.
The steam from Bissell Steam Shot Hard Surface Cleaner is hot enough to peel the paint off the walls, so unless you’re meaning to do that, don’t use it on the wall.
Instead, use it on the tile grout, sliding door cracks, and edges of sinks. The dirt that has accumulated there will get off easily.
“The advantage of the Steam Shot…is, that once a surface or item is clean, it really “is” clean. I don’t have any fear or qualms even about using this on kitchen utensils, bread makers, microwaves, and, oven windows.” - G. Morrison
That’s why I like steam cleaners, really, because you can get stains off without using a lot of harsh chemicals that might leave a residue. It’s really helpful in the kitchen when things get greasy and grimy in no time, kills the germs while being safe near food.
