A really slim and sleek steam cleaner from Haan, this Haan Slim & Light Steam Cleaner SI-35 doesn’t take much space and can fit in with your brooms and mops, exactly what you need if you live in a small house or despise rolling out large equipment just for a small spillage or spot.

The design itself was very appealing and was the main reason I bought this, already having another steam cleaner it would make no sense to buy another, but the steam cleaner I already have is quite large and a pain to get up to the second floor, but this one I just toss it into the little locker next to the bathroom where my mops and brooms used to be, perfect location for a handy thing like this.
Using this Haan Slim & Light Steam Cleaner SI-35 is entirely easy, from the box you just have to snap together all the parts, the little container that holds 13.5 ounces is very small and I barely noticed it the first time, it fits so well with the unit, just fill it up and plug the cord in, turn it on and wait for it to boil this may take a few minutes but nothing too long.
The head comes with a marvelous 15 jets to spray out steam, and the boiler produces extra hot 212 degree Fahrenheit steam which is enough to get the germs packing (well actually curling up and meeting an untimely demise). The head, which is the part that needs to be in contact with the floor to be able to clean is 6 by 13 inches, this is good, as a wider head means you cover more ground, but it’s not too big that you are unable to fit it into small places.
The long body and handle of this thing means I don’t have to bend, or lower myself a little just to clean, I know some of you might be wondering what a little bending is going to cost you? Well you might not feel it now but in the future you might be experiencing back aches and all sorts of nasty back related problems if you keep bending over just to get some dust off your carpet.
One problem that comes with something that says compact is that it won’t last long, this steam cleaner has a small tank which means frequent refill and the power cord is a little short, but why complain, it cleans as well as any large steam cleaner.
So re-usable and washable pads, and tap water capable all add up to a cost effective product, so if you are looking for something to clean a small house with and don’t want to drag around a large cleaner on wheels then you should definitely get this Haan Slim & Light Steam Cleaner SI-35.
